What is the best web site builder and host in one, in your opinion?

Question by marlaclementine: What is the best web site builder and host in one, in your opinion?
I have a multidimensional company that I want to build my own site off of myspace. I need a site that has templates and hosts as well. I’d like to have forums, chat, and let members and guests log in and out, let them post new local projects, etc….as well as an ongoing local art/music/community news section. I suppose like a business blog. I don’t mind paying for a site, but cannot afford more than $ 20/month, preferably under $ 10, but I want quality and reliability.

Any and all suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thanks!

What is a good web site to host my handicraft business online?

Question by johnxspeaking: What is a good web site to host my handicraft business online?
Hello,

I have a small but growing handicraft business. I currently sell my crafts at venues such as local art fairs and farmers’ markets. I would like to begin selling my hand-made goods through the Internet but I’m not sure how to get started. I am not a technical person and don’t know anything about creating a web site. What I think I need is a “template” web site that will allow me to just upload pictures and descriptions of my crafts and accept payments through credit card or PayPal. I know it won’t be free, but cost will be a consideration. I guess what I am after is a pre-built web site that will allow me to customize it so that it will become my store. Are there any such web sites that you would recommend? And how would such a web site compare to just setting up a store on eBay?

Thanks for your help.

Google Search –

Yahoo Domains
Wordpress
000webhost.com
google webmaster tools
google analytics
adsense keyword tool

One thing you will need to know after successfully getting your site up and running is content. If you make a craft item and it’s title contains keywords that are quite general or matched with something currently “Popular”, you will have to do research with google “adsense keyword tool”. Just google it as well. The trick is to punch in the name of your product (or the main keywords) and it will give you other keywords associated with the ones your searching. You need to pick keywords to name your items according to which ones have a high global monthly search rating but at the same time do not have a lot of competition. The best way to find the keywords to click the column heading for global monthly searches after doing your search. This will arrange them in highest to lowest and then you can go to the competition column and use that to make your selection. Its easier to get ranked in google on keywords being used less but being searched more.

What Web Host should i use?

Question by J-Steppin’: What Web Host should i use?
My friend needs a website made for his small business. Its just an art sale website, im moderate at web design, done a few forums, decent at Graphics. I want to use a web host that will allow me to Basically make my own template, customize the buttons, background, frames everything. Any ideas on which one will let me do that? And i’d like one that is initially free to use so i can make sure its right before i pay for it.

Free and limited or paid and unlimited. But you can get a site for about $ 5/month for 3 months – not a large investment, even if it doesn’t work out.

Try GoDaddy – http://www.godaddy.com/
